Ordering Information

Small (4-6p) and medium cakes (10-12p) are available on a walk in basis. Selection and availability vary, so to guarantee a specific item, we suggest pre-ordering. Writing on cakes is not always available on walk in service. The large cakes (18-20p) and cookie baskets must always be ordered in advance. Generally 1-2 days, but much more for holidays

WRITING ON CAKES - Writing is available on most cakes and on some tarts. If you would like an inscription, please notify us at the time of placing your advance order.

HOW MUCH ADVANCE FOR AN ORDER - Generally, one to two days is sufficient notice to place a dessert order, with the exception of major holidays, such as Easter, Mother’s day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and new years. The amount of notice varies depending on the holiday. Every year we seem to get a little busier so call ahead to find out the appropriate amount of time to place a holiday order.

DEPOSITS - A 50% deposit is required on orders over $100 or special orders may require a deposit. Deposits are refundable if cancellations are made 24 hours in advance of the order.

PICKING UP YOUR ORDER - Due to excessive café business in the evening, we ask that you place orders and make pickups prior to 7pm.

REFRIGERATION - In the warmer weather, you should keep your cakes cold. If traveling for a long period of time, keep your cake in a cooler or use ice packs.

In colder weather, 40° or less, cakes with butter cream can travel much longer. If kept cold, approximately 1 to 2 hours. Take consideration on traveling time with mousse cakes and whip cream topped cakes which tend to be more delicate.

Some desserts will travel better than others, but keep in mind there are no preservatives or stabilizers in our pastry. Warmer temperatures will cause shorter shelf life and decreased quality of your dessert.
