Pastiche Fine Desserts & Café

In 1983, Eileen Collins and Brandt Heckert started making desserts for local restaurants. Although they had no formal training or experience, they did have a simple concept, "provide quality and consistency". The response was overwhelmingly positive and they decided to open a small shop on historical Federal Hill.

Today they still offer the same quality and consistency from recipes developed over twenty years. All desserts are still made "in house" from scratch. A small staff of dedicated bakers uphold the philosophy to create simple but superb desserts that have become renowned throughout New England and beyond.

Pastiche provides an intimate European style café. The building was built circa 1875 and seats a modest 40 people. The working fireplace that warms the café in cold crisp days is embraced by an Italian countryside mural. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. In addition to the café experience, desserts can be purchased for take out, either by the slice or as a whole cake.

But most of all, Pastiche is a wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon cup of tea or a cappuccino and delicious dessert!
